This project has only been possible thanks to the use of AI, as creating FMV sequences with real actors would be practically unfeasible due to the high costs involved, which would amount to millions of euros. Unfortunately, with your review, comment, or negative action, you are further hindering the possibility of hiring professionals for future projects. As an independent developer, I have dedicated the last 7 years full-time to learning how to create video games, despite already having 25 years of experience as a programmer before starting this journey. I have invested all this time without any compensation, with the sole aim of bringing this project to life. Creating a profitable game is a challenge in itself, and even more so when it is expected to be of high quality without the necessary financial resources. Each image has required hundreds of tests to achieve an acceptable result, given the early stages of the technology we are using. Additionally, each 1080p video test has cost one euro. If you don’t like the game or the use of AI, I invite you to reconsider your actions and choose not to play the game. If you want the project to succeed, I encourage you to support it rather than contribute to its harm. It is important to respect the creators’ decisions and understand that the use of new technologies is part of progress, just as the invention of the printing press or the introduction of digital art was in the past. If a comment or review on Steam does not reflect the actual experience of the game, I urge you to mark it as "not helpful" on Steam. Such reviews are not relevant for fairly assessing the product, so they should be disregarded by those seeking an objective evaluation of the game. If the critiques suggest I should hire artists, I must clarify that I do not have the resources to do so, as FMV games are costly, and their sustainability in the long run would be difficult without AI support. It is important to note that this does not affect 2D art or visual artists, as this is more related to cinema and new forms of digital creation. It’s crucial to remember that, just as AI-generated video can spark controversy among actors or film directors, digital art can also be met with reluctance from some visual artists. However, this does not mean that we should reject any of these art forms. A similar situation occurred when hand-drawn anime was replaced by digital techniques in many productions. Regarding copyright, I have no reason to believe that I have violated any laws in this regard; if any issue were to arise, I would be ready to address it immediately. Furthermore, the use of AI has allowed me to translate and dub the game into several languages, improving the experience for users and making the product more accessible to a global audience.
